Emagine Theatre Donates Sunday at the Movies to The Rainbow Connection

Rochester, Mich. – January 10, 2011 – A snowy Sunday in January is the perfect time to go to the movies. The Rainbow Connection has partnered with the new Emagine Theatre in Rochester Hills to bring you a great movie deal perfect for the whole family! On Sunday, January 30th come watch all the new release movies you want with free popcorn and pop for the very low price of just $25. Emagine Theatre is donating the tickets to The Rainbow Connection so 100% of each ticket will help make dreams come true for Michigan children with life threatening illnesses.

“It’s a great deal” says Mary Grace McCarter, Executive Director at The Rainbow Connection. “We call it the Winterfest Movie Marathon and you can come and go throughout the day, watching as many movies as you like while helping the wish kids. This is a wonderful opportunity to support these brave Michigan kids and have fun doing it. We priced it reasonably so everyone who wants to join in could do so. The proceeds will directly impact the lives of children living right here in our own communities.”

Tickets can be purchased by phone, mail or online at www.rainbowconnection.org. For more information about the Winterfest Movie Marathon, please call The Rainbow Connection at 248-601-9474.

Founded in 1985 by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Paterson, The Rainbow Connection grants wishes to Michigan children stricken with life threatening illness and so much more. It is like an extension of the family, offering support during this most difficult time and linking wish families to other services they may need whatever they may be. With the help of the community, these Michigan families know they are not alone.
